An extra date has been added for An Evening with Roy Keane in conversation with Roddy Doyle at the 3Arena in Dublin next May.

Due to demand, former Manchester United and Ireland captain Roy Keane and author Roddy Doyle will take to the stage at the venue on Saturday, May 9. Their show on Friday, May 8, is now sold out.

An evening with Roy Keane in conversation with Roddy Doyle is a special in-conversation event featuring the former footballer and the author, who came together to write the bestselling book The Second Half, which offers a unique perspective on Keane’s life and the challenges he faced both on and off the pitch.

The pair previously performed three sold-out nights together at the Marquee in Cork, where Keane’s chat with Doyle touched upon all aspects of his life, from his Cork roots and Mayfield pride to his infamous Saipan clash with Mick McCarthy.

The pair will also take their candid evening of conversation to The SSE Arena in Belfast on May 7.

Tickets for the additional Dublin date will go on sale this Thursday, December 11 at 9am from ticketmaster.ie.
