Christy Moore announces return to Cork's Marquee next summer

Folk singer-songwriter Christy Moore is set to make his return to Cork with a headline gig next summer.
In an annual series broken only by Covid, the musician is the only artist to have attended every single Marquee.
Returning to the tented venue in Cork city next summer, Moore will be a welcome addition to next year's line-up, which will see David Gray, Two Door Cinema Club, K-POP Forever! Tribute and Tom Grennan also play the venue.
Christy will take to the stage, guitar in hand, on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Meanwhile, an expanded edition of Christy's album which was released last year and went to number one on the charts, will be released on November 14.
The album features a track dedicated to the songwriter's love of the venue, called
Despite having played since 2005, his raw talent continues to attract large crowds to the tent, packing the place out.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, November 5, on Ticketmaster.
