Bad Manners, Shane Johnson and the Céilí Mór are part of the events in Cork for St Patrick's Weekend.
The Cork trombonist and his quality band will play a set that combines original compositions and contemporary takes on favourite standards. The concert is part of a jazz-tinged weekend at Triskel, with Ethan Iverson of The Bad Plus also playing on Saturday.
The ‘storytelling platform’ has been running events all over the world, and their contribution to Cork Podcast Festival is centred around the theme of Connections. People are invited to tell their personal anecdotes based on their own experience, or the experience of someone in their life, and fictional pieces are also welcome.
