Neil Young will play at Malahide Castle.

American music legend Neil Young will be coming back to Ireland in June of this year, gig organisers announced on Monday afternoon.

As part of his 'love earth' world tour alongside live backing band, the Chrome Hearts, the grunge godfather will be headlining at Malahide Castle in Dublin on Thursday June 26, 2025, with Van Morrison slated to support.

The tour sees Young joined on stage by veteran collaborators Spooner Oldham (Farfisa organ), Micah Nelson (guitar and vocal), Corey McCormick (bass and vocal), and Anthony LoGerfo (drums), and gig organisers are promising a set of songs old and new, including recent single Big Change.

Meanwhile, Young's Farm Aid initiative will be overseeing available concessions, focusing on sustainable big-gig grub at prices that are fair to producers and customers alike.

It'll be the 79-year-old's first visit to Ireland since a Nowlan Park, Kilkenny, double-header with Bob Dylan in 2019, with his Promise of the Real band.

  • Tickets €89.90 to €99.90, plus charges, are available beginning Tuesday February 25 - prioritising diehard fans via a 48-hour pre-sale for Neil Young Archives members. Local promoters MCD's pre-sale kicks off Thursday, February 27 at 10am, via mcd.ietarget="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">. Public on-sale begins Friday, February 28 at 10am, via ticketmaster.ie.

Meanwhile, British hip-hop act D-Block Europe (DBE) are the latest additions to Live at the Marquee in Cork. The London trio have had hits with the likes of Darling and Overseas, and were part of the Longitude line-up in 2024. They’ll be heading to Cork on Wednesday, July 23, with tickets going on sale on Thursday, February 27.
