With news that Amazon has gained creative control of the James Bond film franchise, we look at what impact the deal will have on both the company’s studios and the 007 series.

Amazon acquired Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer MGM in 2022 for $8.45bn (€8bn) and rebranded its studios to Amazon MGM Studios a year later.
