TV review: Jamie Oliver is always worth a watch

There’s no Jamie without banter, daaarlin’, writes Pat Fitzpatrick
I keep waiting for Jamie Oliver to make tired TV. It’s not a limitless formula. Up-beat telegenic bloke makes semi-healthy meals in aspirational kitchen. There are only so many takes on that. Twenty-five years after
came along, he’s still at it with on Channel 4. And it’s still great TV.Ok, the market-trader shtick grates away, the lubbly-jubbly banter as if he’s trying to sell you a bowl cherries rather than show you how to cook them in a tart. But he’s been at that since day one, so it’s baked in. There’s no Jamie without banter, daaarlin’.
