When Aimée Fitzpatrick met Max Martin, the Swedish record producer, songwriter and master hooksmith responsible for some of the greatest pop hits of the past three decades – including ”I Want It That Way,” “Blank Space,” “Baby One More Time,” Since You Been Gone,” and “I Kissed A Girl,”– all she thought about was her outfit. 

“My producer Nick surprised me,” she smiles via Zoom from her Dublin home. “I thought it was the ABBA Museum, but we pull up to this massive house, the gates open, and all of a sudden Max walks out. I nearly fainted. The only thought I remember coming into my head was why the fuck did I wear this dress.”
