Path to Paris, RTÉ One, July 11

The second instalment of the new RTÉ documentary follows gymnast Rhys McClenaghan and brother and sister duo Nhat N’Guyen (Badminton) and Tham N’Guyen (Weightlifting). The series tracks Ireland’s top medal prospects as they work to qualify for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This powerful documentary tells the untold story of young athletes and sheds a light on the challenges they face as well as the negative impact high-level sports training can have on children.
