On the latest episode of First Dates Ireland on RTÉ2, George is a hip-hop dancer whose hearing difficulty, he feels, has impacted his ability to meet someone, with his date for the evening being the first one of his life.
Thankfully, his date Killian has left his nine inch heels at home and as a result is somewhat less intimidating to the immensely affable George, with the two instantly demonstrating an easy and extremely endearing rapport - one which would warm the cockles of even the most cynical of TV reviewers.
