Take That to kick off European Tour with concert at Musgrave Park in Cork
Take That will appear at Musgrave Park in Cork, with the current line-up featuring Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald.
Take That have announced they will kick off their 2024 European tour in Cork. The former boyband will perform their first ever Leeside concert at Musgrave Park on Thursday, June 20, with Olly Murs in support.
The trio – now comprised of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - will also play Malahide Castle Dublin (June 21st) and Belsonic Belfast (22nd) before heading to mainland Europe to complete their 19-date summer tour. The group have also sold out two dates at 3Arena in Dublin for April.
The ‘This Life Under the Stars’ tour will take place following the release of the This Life album in November, their first studio record since 2017. Take That’s appearance at the Cork rugby stadium is the third of a series of 2024 gigs announced so far, with Becky Hill (June 14) and Cian Ducrot (June 28) also rostered for the southside venue. Further announcements are expected in the near future.
Take That fans are able to register for a presale now via promoters MCD, with the first batch of tickets becoming available on Wednesday, October 18, and the general sale taking place on Thursday, October 19, via Ticketmaster. Prices for the latest dates haven’t yet been announced, but tickets for the 3Arena gigs started at €78.25 plus booking fees.

The group began life as a five-piece in Manchester in 1990, with Robbie Williams and Jason Orange also in the lineup. Through the early 1990s, they became one of the biggest pop bands on the planet on the back of an output that featured cover versions like ‘It Only Takes a Minute’ and ‘Relight My Fire’ smashing chart records alongside their original compositions such as ‘Back For Good’.
A bitter break-up saw Williams depart the group in 1995, and the other members decided to take a break the following year. A reunion in 2005 saw Take That hit the road again as a four-piece, and they have toured intermittently since, with Orange announcing his retirement in 2014.
Apart from Williams’ highly successful solo career, Barlow, 52, has been the highest-profile of the group, with a busy broadcasting career on a number of TV talent shows.
