A tribute to the Leaving Cert students stuck inside while it's sunny out

Spare a thought for those who we can thank for all this good weather.

It’s one week to the Leaving Cert. and the exam weather has kindly decided to arrive early.

But while we’re off having our lunch outside, bringing ice-creams into the office and planning early evening drinks in the beer garden, some of the nation's students are likely holed up in their rooms with curtains drawn and their mammies guarding the door.

Others, of course, have buried their heads in the sand of the local beach, trying to justify being outside (“I’m in desperate need of some Vitamin D. it’s for my HEALTH”).

Either way, Ireland thanks you.

Good luck, kids! It will all be over soon. Course it will probably rain for the rest of June… But next year, YOU can enjoy the fine LC weather.
