VIDEO: Man takes down alleged thief after motorcycle was stolen

A video of a member of the public chasing down an alleged motorbike thief in the United States has gone viral.

The have-a-go hero reportedly saw the man steal the bike and frantically tore after him in a residential area on his own motorcycle.

He then wastes no time in delivering a swift kick to the alleged thief, sending him flying to the ground. The clip then cuts to police arresting the alleged bike robber.

The video has racked up nearly 70,000 hits since it was added to YouTube late last week.
