VIDEO: Kerryman fights cancer his way

To the Rocky theme, of course.

Last August, Darren Mullery was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer while his wife Danielle was pregnant with their first child. Five months later, their daughter Noelle was born just as Darren was undergoing treatment to save his life.

Darren, 39, who is from Tralee, worked with friends from the local drama group to create this video - set to the Rocky music - that shows him kicking cancer's ass.

The description under the video sums up why Darren made this video.

"His hope is whoever sees this video and is going through a hard time will get some kind of hope and courage from it, and to show them that even in hard times you still keep fighting and have fun when you can."
