These two Colombian babies weigh a combined 91lbs

These two bouncers have started a special weight-loss plan with a charity that combats obesity.

A Colombian charity is helping two babies who weigh a combined 91lbs to lose weight.

The babies, who are not related, are starting a weight loss plan designed by the charity, Gorditos de Corazon (Chubby Hearts).

Santiago Mendoza and Isabella Caicedo are only 10 months old. Santiago's mother brought him to the charity earlier this year after his weight reached 42 lbs when he was eight months old. Isabella's mother was inspired to contact the charity after seeing Santiago's story on TV.

The health specialists are confident that they can bring down the babies' weight with Isabella already losing 3.5lbs.

"We hope with six to eight months of using a special diet, the babies could be down to a normal weight," said the foundation’s director, Salvador Palacio.
