Corrie to welcome first Muslim family

'Coronation Street' bosses have confirmed they will be introducing the first Muslim family to the soap.

Producers of the show – which has been running for over 50 years – have decided to introduce the family of new character Khalid Kal Nasir, with his relatives set to join him on the cobbles later this year.
