Ahead of the tonight's return of the Xfactor live shows, we thought we'd check in on last year's winner James Arthur to see what he's been doing since shifting 2.5 million copies of his single "Impossible" in the wake of last year's show.

Apparently he now has braces, has put on a bit of weight (which he's trying to get rid of) – and he enjoys the odd spray tan.
