What has James Arthur done since winning the XFactor?

Ahead of tonight's live shows - what's last year's winner been up to?

Ahead of the tonight's return of the Xfactor live shows, we thought we'd check in on last year's winner James Arthur to see what he's been doing since shifting 2.5 million copies of his single "Impossible" in the wake of last year's show.

Apparently he now has braces, has put on a bit of weight (which he's trying to get rid of) – and he enjoys the odd spray tan.

He's come a long way since his first audition holding that guitar (that he brought his mam and dad along to) – it's still as good as it was a year ago.

James is going to be on the Jonathan Ross show following the first of the Xfactor live shows, where we'll doubtless hear more about life after reality TV.
