Irish Potato, according to tourism website ExploringKorea.com offers the humble spud in a variety of forms, with toppings such as seaweed powder, yogurt cream sauce and pineapple sauce that would raise a view eyebrows here.

They seem to be popular though, "located all over Korea" with "more are opening up every month", according to the website.

“The Irish passionate and appreciative attitude towards the potato was what inspired our brand,” the company states, as their website displays the slogan: “Ireland’s proverb – there are two things in the world that can’t be joked about. One is marriage, two is potato.”

They also serve beer, coffee and tea. At least the drink selection is authentic…
