Adele's 21 last year's biggest-selling album

Official figures show Adele's 21 was by far the biggest selling album of 2011.

It also achieved more than double the sales of the previous year's top album, Take That's Progress.

But the total number of albums being bought fell slightly during the year, but sales of singles rose 10 percent.
