Arts world mourns film critic Michael Dwyer
The Arts Minister has expressed his sadness following the death of the Irish Times film correspondent Michael Dwyer.
Mr Dwyer, who was 58, died following an illness.
Martin Cullen said the film sector and the media had lost a passionate, dedicated enthusiast who had been a singular, significant influence on cinema in Ireland for more than 30 years.
Michael Dwyer was also chairman of the Dublin International Film Festival, which he co-founded in 2002.
