Brown closes down Twitter page after rant

Chris Brown has shut down his Twitter page following an online rant against US stores not stocking his new album.

The 20-year-old singer – who has seen his career nose-dive since he pleaded guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year – has deleted his account on the social networking site, a day after using it to complain he was being “blackballed” by the industry.
