Electric Picnic to host Lamb reunion

The first line-up details for the Body and Soul arena at this year’s Electric Picnic festival has been announced today, with recently re-united duo Lamb the star attraction.

Perhaps best known for their UK hit “Gorecki”, the Manchester band are set to perform in the venue’s custom built stage, nestled amongst the oak trees in the natural amphitheatre.

A favourite of many Electric Picnic festival veterans, the Body and Soul village will also include an eclectic mix of arts, performance, cutting-edge theatre, visual installation and gardens.

Other musical artists added to the bill include Co Clare’s Tulla Céilí Band, The Soundcarriers, Blindfold, Golden Animals, and Baltimore boy-girl duo of Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally.

Weekend tickets for Electric Picnic are still available from Ticketmaster, priced at €240.

The festival will take place in Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, Co Laois from September 4–6.
