Jack Black: 'I was a drug-taking teen'

Jack Black was a wild teen who took drugs and stole from his own mother.

The 'Kung Fu Panda' star considers himself lucky to have survived a "reckless" adolescence, growing up in California - but insists he was no different to most youngsters.

Black says: "I'm lucky to be alive - I don't think I was completely sane. They should have put me in jail. Plus, I was doing coke and sniffing glue, I stole from my mum. It was a bad time, but most teens have reckless spells."
