Newton-John helped Minogue through cancer

Breast cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John offered her Australian compatriot Kylie Minogue a shoulder to cry on after she was diagnosed with the deadly disease.

The Grease star - who won her battle with breast cancer in 1992 - urged Minogue to come to her with any worries after the singer was told by doctors she had the disease in 2005.
