Firth plans for retail empire

Colin Firth and his wife Livia will become international retail entrepreneurs when they take their environmentally friendly store Eco Age to New York .

The pair's London venture, selling solar panels, lead-free paint and garden tools, is thriving - and now they are setting their sites on earth-conscious Americans.

Firth tells the New York Post: "New York is absolutely our next stop. I really want to open a shop in SoHo next year. It's one of my favourite places in the whole world."
