'Sex and the City' star to be a father

'Sex and the City' star Chris North is going to be a father after learning his girlfriend Tara Wilson is pregnant.

North played 'Mr Big' in the popular TV series. The child will be the couple's first.

A spokeswoman for the pair said: "Chris and Tara are very happy and have always agreed to keep what is most personal in their lives private."
