You may be glad he’s gone to America, but he’s never far away, as ‘David Beckham: The Life of an Icon’ (Liberation, €21.99) shows.

While you won’t learn very much about the man that you don’t already know, it does include action from the 1998 World Cup and his last season with Real Madrid.
