Neeson hits out at celebrity adoptions

Ulster actor Liam Neeson, who doubles as a Unicef ambassador, has come out against the star habit of adopting children from other countries.

He feels the children should be brought up in their own countries: “I did consider doing it when I was in Africa but, to be honest, I have a lot of issues with it, with taking a child away from its parents, if they were alive, and from its country and culture.”
