Affleck dedicates nomination to Reeves
Ben Affleck is dedicating his first ever Golden Globe nomination for acting to tragic TV Superman George Reeves.
Affleck landed the nomination for his role as Reeves in new movie Hollywoodland, which depicts the suspicious circumstances surrounding his 1959 death.
Affleck revealed how deeply he has been affected by the star's untimely demise aged 45.
He says: "My enthusiasm for going this year is tempered only by the knowledge of how much George Reeves would have loved to be there.
"I'm sorry he'll miss it."
