Farrell: 'Hire me to voice a cartoon'

Hollywood actor Colin Farrell has set his sights on making more family-friendly films, and desperately wants to voice an animated character.

The former hellraiser, who left rehab in January, feels he has beaten his demons and, inspired by his three-year-old son James, insists the time is right for some children's entertainment if only somebody would take an interest in him.

The Irish-born Miami Vice star says: "I'd really like to do an animated film next but no one is calling me to do one."
