Crow still sad about Armstrong split

Rocker Sheryl Crow is reportedly still reeling from her split from cycling champion Lance Armstrong, because she originally thought their break-up would be brief.

The pair announced they were ending their relationship in February, just days before Crow was diagnosed with breast cancer.

The All I Wanna Do singer has been leaning for support on close friend Courteney Cox, who also helped Jennifer Aniston through her rough split from Brad Pitt.

A source close to Cox tells American publication Us Weekly that Crow is still reeling from the split six months down the road: "She broke things off to test Lance and it backfired.

"Now he is happier without her and she is depressed."

Crow joined Cox and her family on a recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, earlier this month and was even set up on a date with one of Cox's director pals.
