Furtado: 'I wanted to strangle Timbaland'

Singer Nelly Furtado wanted to strangle producer Timbaland during their collaboration on her album Loose - as the rap mogul walked out on her every time he got bored.

The Canadian star admits Timbaland is a "genius", but she wishes he could work on his social skills.

She says: "It was almost Pavlovian. If he's not feeling what you are doing, he walks out of the room!

"He's got a low attention span. Half the time I wanted to wring his neck, but that comes with genius, the social awkwardness."
