Wrong turn for Theron in drab sci-fi movie
Sometimes, despite their obvious talent and Oscar statuette, stars take a wrong turn, and Charlize Theron is no exception.
In Aeon Flux (Paramount, €24.99) she plays a secret agent and assassin whose job is to discover why, in the world’s last remaining city, people are disappearing. This sci-fi caper rambles along without leaving any great impression on the viewer, other than perhaps wishing it would all end soon.
