Marriage over for X-Files star Anderson

The X-Files star Gillian Anderson has split up with her husband Julian Ozanne.

The 37-year-old actress married photojournalist and documentary film-maker Ozanne in 2004, and settled in London with her 11-year-old daughter Piper from her previous marriage to Clyde Kotz.

A statement from Schillings, the couple's solicitor says: "Gillian Anderson and her husband Julian Ozanne are saddened to announce that their marriage is at an end and they are in the process of separating.

"At this difficult time they request that their privacy is respected. There will be no further comment."
