Church's 'suicide' mother thanks singer

Charlotte Church's mother Maria has publicly thanked the Welsh singer for saving her life during a desperate suicide attempt last month.

The troubled 39-year-old, who has been described as "deeply depressed", took a painkiller overdose on 24 November following alleged marital troubles with husband James.
