Clooney bows out in doctor drama

Fans of hospital drama and George Clooney’s character, Dr Doug Ross can get their last action from the Hollywood star in ER: The Complete Fifth Season (Warner), where he loves and leaves the lovely Carol Hathaway.

There’s a lot more than that to keep you glued to the screen, although I know several fans who find the operating scenes too gruesome.

Fear not, this is one of the better seasons, with romance breaking out everywhere.
