Kylie Minogue is desperate to return to the stage as soon as she has recovered from surgery to remove a cancerous lump from her breast.

Promoters of her 'on hold' Showgirls tour say an announcement about rescheduled dates are just "a few weeks away" - but they have warned fans to give the singer the chance to regain her health and strength before she begins the postponed Australian leg of the tour.
