Holmes realises lifetime crush on Cruise

Katie Holmes has had a lifelong crush on new boyfriend Tom Cruise.

The former Dawson's Creek star let slip her dream date in a magazine interview last year, when she was engaged to now ex-fiance Chris Klein.

She said: "I think every little girl dreams about her wedding. I used to think I was going to marry Tom (Cruise)."

News of the couple's relationship was unveiled by Minority Report star Cruise's sister and publicist Lee Anne Devette, following numerous sightings of the actor wining and dining Holmes.
