Bono for president?

Bono has been put forward for the prestigious political job of president of the World Bank.

His dedicated charity work and tireless campaigning to stamp out third world debt has inspired American newspaper The Los Angeles Times to suggest him as a potential candidate for the high-powered role, which became available in May.
