Seal pops question to Heidi on mountaintop

Seal proposed to supermodel fiancee Heidi Klum on a mountaintop in the Canadian ski resort of Whistler.

Klum, 31,has announced the pair's engagement in a posting on her website.

She says the British singer, 41, popped the question on a secluded glacier at 14,000 feet (4,267 metres) on December 23.

The message says: "We reached this beautiful place by helicopter one day before Christmas Eve. It was a unique experience."

Only last year Klum, who split from her first husband, celebrity hairdresser Ric Pipino, in 2002, insisted she wouldn't step down the aisle again.

She wrote in her book Heidi Klum's Book of Evidence: "I actually don't know that I'll ever get married again."
