Frost thanks friends for support during Law split

British actress and lingerie designer Sadie Frost has thanked her friends for supporting her as she battled post-natal depression and split from ex-husband Jude Law.

Frost, 37, is grateful pals including supermodel Kate Moss stood by her side after she gave birth to her fourth child Rudy, her third with Law, in September 2002.

She says: "I'm so relieved that my friends were there for me when I went through a really difficult time, about two years ago.

"It all started in 2002, when I got post-natal depression after Rudy was born. I was really lucky to have friends I could trust, who were supportive.

"The whole thing was awful - I think it was probably a combination of moving house travelling all over the place and my ex-husband, Jude Law, being away filming a lot.

"Rudy was premature and was really ill, so he had to go into hospital. I just couldn't cope and found it really hard to talk to anyone.

"Then, at the beginning of 2003, I split up with Jude. Thankfully, none of our friends took sides. I've lost touch with a few people, but that's because they didn't really want to get involved."
