Robert Smith happy without children
The Cure frontman Robert Smith is comfortable with his decision to never have children - because he feels he's far too irresponsible to bring any offspring into the world.
The 45-year-old rocker and his wife Mary Poole will celebrate 16 years of marriage next month, and they're happy they never brought children of their own into their romance.
Smith says: "I have 25 nephews and nieces, so I have the pleasure of lots of children around when I want them. But I can shut the door on them.
"My wife and I decided at a very early age that we would not have children. I don't feel responsible enough to bring a child into the world."
