Potter author wins dispute with neighbours

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has won a bitter battle with her neighbours in a bid to make her £1m (€1.4m) Scottish mansion more secure.

The 38-year-old had planned to put a £50,000 (€75,000) cctv system around the grounds of her Edinburgh home, but came up against stiff opposition from neighbours William and Catherine Brotherston, who claimed the cameras to be an unnecessary invasion of their privacy.
