Comedy propels Sandler into A-list

Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are currently the hottest, most sought-after stars in America, now that their new comedy, 50 First Dates is such an enormous hit at the box office.

The movie made $41m in ticket sales over last weekend (despite mixed reviews) and has established Sandler as a major player on Hollywood's A-list.
