Affleck hits out at US policies

Hollywood star Ben Affleck took a foray into politics while accepting an award, criticising President George Bush over his post-September 11 policies.

The Armageddon star, making his first formal appearance with Jennifer Lopez since their wedding was postponed, said he wanted to put the “absurd amount of publicity” he had received lately to good use.
