Pranksters leave Fame Academy star deflated
Fame Academy winner David Sneddon was left feeling let down after pranksters deflated the tyres on his car, it emerged today.
The chart topper was performing before hundreds of screaming pupils at an Edinburgh school when mischief-makers struck.
The 24-year-old singer, from Paisley, was belting out his new single Don’t Let Go at Craigmount High yesterday as part of a whistle-stop tour to promote his debut album.
When minders bundled the star to his waiting people carrier outside the school, the deflated tyres was found.
There was no damage to the distinctive orange four-wheel drive Renault RX4 and that the singer had seen the funny side of the prank.
“It wasn’t malicious, they didn’t slash the tyres, they just let them down and put the caps back on. It was a bit of a let down but it’s quite amusing,” said a spokesman.
