Sharon Stone puts 'her life' on screen
Sharon Stone, who last year suffered a stroke-like brain aneurysm that brought her close to death, has starred in a public service film for the American Stroke Association.
Her remarks were reportedly so powerful and compelling that the entire crew stood, weeping to applaud her.
James Woods, who directed her in the short film, told the New York Post: “I have never in my life seen such naked, honest emotion, such a commitment to do something for the greater good. She was amazing and inspiring.
“When it was over I went to her and started to say, ‘I’ve never seen such a performance...’ She stopped me and said: ‘James, this was no performance. This is my life; this is my heart.”’
Now fully recovered from her stroke, Stone will be seen later this year co-starring with Dennis Quaid in the film Cold Creek Manor.
