MTV apologises for mocking Gandhi

MTV in the United States has been forced to apologise for offending Indians after airing a show that lampooned India’s independence leader, Mahatma Gandhi.

“MTV US apologises if we have offended the people of India and the memory of Mahatma Gandhi,” the music channel said in a statement.
