Friends to stay a little longer

Jennifer Aniston has been talking about why the Friends actors decided to go for another season of the hit show rather than ending after the ninth series as was widely anticipated.

Backstage at the Golden Globe awards – where she picked up a best comic actress honour for her role as Rachel on Friends – she said: “People really wanted to do another year, the public wanted it, and NBC wanted it.”
