Catherine Zeta Jones has received praise from dieticians for piling on the pounds during her second pregnancy.

The actress had vowed she would stay slimmer this time, after putting on 50lb when pregnant with son Dylan, two years ago.

But she admitted on the David Letterman TV show that she has already put on three stone and can no longer touch her toes.

Catherine and husband Michael Douglas are expecting their second baby in March.
