Big Brother celebs bed down to spot of DIY

The six Celebrity Big Brother housemates were literally forced to make their own beds on their first night in the house.

Mark Owen, Goldie, Sue Perkins, Melinda Messenger, Les Dennis and Anne Diamond were told to assemble three flat-pack beds.

They were enjoying a cup of tea when they were told the beds in one room were not made.

All assumed the beds simply lacked linen and Goldie burst out laughing in disbelief when he opened a room and realised the three beds were actually unassembled.

The others also looked shocked as they entered the room, but all saw the funny side and laughed and joked as they erected the beds.

Sue helped keep the mood light with a series of gags, including: "It's like a boot camp for the remedial! You must screw things into beds for seven days."

And Melinda proved to be an expert, saying "I like doing things like this" as she showed Les how to do it.

The housemates successfully completed their opening task in about half an hour and cracked open a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

They chatted the night away and house oldies Anne and Les showed no signs of their age as they kept Mark and Goldie company into the small hours.

The celebs are facing their next task live on today's show and the results will determine how much of the shopping they have ordered they can keep.
